Hedonism

This project investigates the depth and perception of event branding through the creation of a multi-dimensional poster system. Based on the concept of "Hedonism," one of the UK’s earliest underground raves, the design captures an atmosphere that is simultaneously ephemeral and vibrant. The final composition is the result of layering nine distinct iterations. Each exploring a different stylistic approach, from literal representation and hand-drawn illustration to deliberate abstraction.

The process functioned as a study in curation and visual hierarchy. By cross-referencing these nine versions, certain elements were retained, others transformed, and opposing ideas were integrated to create a sense of structural depth. This iterative layering produced a cohesive final piece that balances legibility with expressive styling, reflecting the dynamic and chaotic energy of rave culture through a disciplined design methodology.
